Boekestijn Transport Service made it – after a pre-selection – till the final round of the award for the best Dutch company investing in the future of Poland. Director Arno Boekestijn says: “Unfortunately, we didn’t win the Dutch-Polish Business Award, but we are incredibly proud of our company being at the top three. The Polish-Dutch Business Forum in the Netherlands has brought together Polish and Dutch top level executives from business and politics to share their knowledge and experience. The speakers, including Mr Mateusz Morawiecki, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Minister of Development and Finance, and Mr Henk Kamp, Minister of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands discussed with the participants how to further enhance framework conditions for Polish companies expanding abroad as well as for Dutch entrepreneurs doing business in Poland. “Boekestijn was mentioned several times by these ministers, as well as by the ambassadors of both countries, as one of the leading Dutch companies in Poland. This recognition is great. Not just for me, but for our entire team.”
“We collaborate with the University of Logistics in Poznan, WSL. We provide lessons at university so that students can gain more practical experience. We also run a project in which students follow a shared learning and work program. At this moment, we have more than 10 students who are doing this program.”

In a global perspective, the Netherlands is the fifth most important exporter, the seventh most important importer, and the seventh most important investor. The value of goods exported to Poland amounts to €10 billion and is higher than the value of goods exported from the Netherlands to China or to Russia. This is stated by the Polish-Dutch Business Forum on their website.

Boekestijn control tower is in operation 24/7 and is located in Poznan PL. The main language we use is English but our colleagues can speak various languages such as FR, DE, ESP, RU,UA.
Office employees as well as our drivers are obliged to have GDP training annually. This falls under the control of our Boekestijn Quality department and we use a Learning Management System.
We operate Double Teams in order to make our transit time shorter and to ensure the highest security standards. If the drivers need to take a break, approved secure parking is used.
